Happy Holidays! It seemed time for an update to the boys web site. We have had a few people ask lately about the site and if we could post some updated pictures. Thank you Rancho Cucamonga High for keeping us in your thoughts.

Time has been rushing by....the boys are 7.5 months old!
The adjusted age of 5 months seems about right for Gavin, who is getting big - 16# now, he is trying very hard to sit up, and loves his little saucer which allows him to pretend stand. Gavin is the easiest baby ever. He smiles and laughs all the time. He loves to see faces and talk back. He has already had his first flu but otherwise is healthy and strong. Gavin lets his little brother cuddle up with him and does not mind Link's fingers in his mouth. Gavin is a lover and Emily calls him TUB OF LOVE!

Lincoln is more like a month or 2 old developmentally. He is finally gaining weight at a better speed, now 11+#. He is shorter than Gavin but certainly makes his feelings known. He is holding his head steadier and his back is getting stronger. He visits the doctors weekly or more....he has bilateral hernia surgery soon. This should reduce some discomfort he still has. At some point in the new year Lincoln will have eye surgery to fix the Strabismus (crossed eye) condition resulting from being premature. He continually has his heart checked but so far does not need surgery. The most difficult news came just before Thanksgiving when it was confirmed he has profound hearing loss. It has taken some adjusting to this information. There is still a lot to learn and discover but we have been in contact with resources and begin this journey hopeful. Lincoln has big (daddy) dimples, blue eyes and great eyelashes. He melts any heart instantly. Nothing brings a smile to his face like rough housing with his Dad.

We cannot express the emotion and gratitude we feel for everyone  who keeps our family in their prayers daily. We know we have amazing support from family and friends. May your holidays be blessed with the same kindness and warmth as our family has been touched with.
